Chosen for MIC ICT Startup League

Powder Keg Technologies Inc. (CEO: Masato Hamamura), a developer of cyber security countermeasure devices using AI technology, is pleased to announce that it has been selected for the "ICT Startup League" organized by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications starting in 2023.

The ICT Startup League is a program that provides the "support" and "competition" necessary for the growth of startups by bringing together the public and private sectors, together with experts, companies, and organizations with knowledge of startups, and taking advantage of the "Budding Startup R&D Support Project" to be launched this fiscal year by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC).

The theme of this program will be "Development of Automated Penetration Testing and Repair Methods for Industrial Control Systems". Cyber-attacks against industrial control systems used in critical infrastructure are increasing, causing significant damage in Japan and abroad. This program aims to develop technologies to prevent cyber-attacks on industrial control systems and to achieve a society free from cyber-attacks.
